When you choose Universum Care as your home care provider, we begin by reviewing your loved one’s needs. We will meet with involved family members and, when necessary, consult with the physician(s) of the care recipient, social workers, hospitals, or nursing home staff. Our goal is to get a complete picture of your loved one’s in-home care needs.

Our Caregivers

The goal of Universum Care is to have a reputation for hiring the highest caliber caregivers. We hire applicants that have at least two years of caregiving experience and that have certifications (e.g. Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Medical Assistants, Certified Caregivers, etc. ); many are also retired nurses and other professionals. We recruit, hire and fire so you never have to. Of course, we don’t want to fire someone who we’ve invested so much time and money to recruit. But, as you’d expect, if they don’t do a good job in your home, we remove them immediately.
